General rasbora discussion.

does anyone know of any colourful rasbora species that would be at home in a 300l fast flowing (2 x tetratec ex 1200), well planted aquarium?

Hi Bazz, the majority of the larger Rasboras will be well at home in a tank with good flow. Unfortunately majority of the larger Rasbora's are by comparison with a lot of other species not particularly colourful.

Most are silver/grey in coloration with their colour in the tail - ie Rasbora rasbora, Rasbora caudimaculta, Rasbora trilineata and Rasbora myersi.

Probably the most colourful Rasboras would be Rasbora wilpita, Rasbora borapatensis, Rasbora daniconius and Rasbora vulcanus, all of which would be fine in your tank and flow.
